Congratulations to Two Former SLP Scholars

Two former SLP Scholars presented their summer research recently as part of the McNair Scholars Program.

Bettie_WanjeriBettie Wanjeri participated in the HHMI EXROP program working on “Determining the protein concentration of malaria vaccine candidate antigen apical membrane antige-1 (AMA1)” at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Bettie was an Undergraduate SLP Scholar during the Winter 2014 term working with UO Faculty Mentor Alan Kelly on Biology 123, Cancer Biology

Caitlyn_HazlettCaitlyn Hazlett worked on “Gallium and Aluminum Cluster Synthesis” at the University of California, Davis.

Caitlyn was an Undergraduate SLP Scholar during the Fall 2013 term working with UO Faculty Mentor Mark Lonergan on Chemistry 111, Introduction to Chemical Principles.

Task Force Recommendations Include Educational Messaging
