Effective teaching is critical to student success. Pursuing the best possible outcomes for UO students, SLP supports mentored teaching opportunities with educators and mentors at various levels. We provide structured support so that faculty and teaching assistants can implement evidence-based teaching practices, proven to improve student learning.
SLP teaching opportunities are available for:
- Faculty, who can work with SLP staff to implement evidence-based practices in specific courses
- Graduate students, who can become teaching assistants through our Graduate Fellows program
- Undergraduate upper-division science students, who can get a behind-the-scenes look at university-level teaching as Undergraduate Scholars
